Hi, my name is Lance Bowen, and I'm 48 years old, and known as The Exceptional Close Up Magician.
I've spent the past 22 years entertaining at weddings, corporate events, and other events around the UK. My journey into the wonderful and amazing world of magic, began at a very early age. I was fascinated by how the things I would see magicians do on TV were possible! At the tend age of just 6 years old. I asked, well, I say asked, It was more like begged my parents to buy me a magic set for Christmas. You can imagine my delight when opened one of my presents. And there it was. My very first magic set I craved for! I learned how to do every trick in there over the next few months, and I was hooked!
When I first saw the Paul Daniels show, I made sure I watched every show from there on in without fail. Sadly, although I kept my hand in so to speak, when I reached my teens, magic took a back seat so I could go out and enjoy myself with my friends.
At the age of 26, I took it back up, and was serious about being the best I could be! Due to keeping my hand in over the years, I was getting booked for Weddings almost immediately.
These day's, I also teach other magicians around the world via live video calls. For wedding entertainment, I offer 3 packages;
1) Entertainment during the drinks reception.
2) Entertainment during the drinks reception, plus 2 hours entertaining at your guests tables after your wedding breakfast and speeches.
3) 4 hours of evening entertainment at your guests tables.
Subject to availability, I will do my best to fit in with you and your plans for the day.
